Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery, Today is a Gift.

 "Behold I am doing a new thing. See I have already began! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway throught the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland" ISAIAH 43:19

Have been working on some new projects the last week and restarting some old once that need a finish.....mostly some knitting and cooking projects. Do you ever feel like one minute you have it all together as organised as ever then you just seem to loose your mojo and can't figure out how to get back on for a while. Then something happens or you read something like the scripture in Isaiah above and then you see. Even though you had impressions of what was going on, Jesus just had to speak a little louder for you to hear........hahahahaha isn't he impressive at his patience.

These are some of the projects I did the last week, one new which was absolutely needed dish cloths......are your dishcloths like socks and go AWOL??This is a new pattern I am using for dishcloths, not sure of it as it is very crinkled together, may need to learn how to block I think it is called. 

Then the other project I restarted is a blanket for a friend who is expecting. She liked the yarn so I am doing a basic blanket stitch on round needles adding a stitch each row then will do it backwards once get to the size I want and decrease a stitch each row. This yarn I have had for along time, tried many crochet projects with it and it gets stuck together so I was glad for the new project of knitting and it has been a success so far. Ever known yarn to have it's own character doesn't like to be crochet just knitted or doestn't like to be knitted just crocheted.....mmmmmm???

The other project I pulled out and am keen to restart is my first mosaic that will be a big blanket. Oh it was such a joy to start this one until I ran out of yarn and the closest yarn store to me is a 4hour round trip so can make sure the colors match. This was thoroughly enjoyable, well they are all enjoyable but this one grabbed my spark.

Wonderfully grateful today is a new day with new gifts where we can stand back up and embrace our gifts and use them.

Believing the Truth Amongst the Ever Loud Noise

Well hello there, you know what is absolutely hilarious is that I am sitting here writing my second blog post pressing buttons trying to figure out how to use the same font as I did the last one and low and behold I am what I think they say is a noob....hahahaha. 

It is a wonderful time here as the temperature has cooled making the days easier to work around. The storms that came past the last few days were wonderful and yes ever so noisy. I love a storm, the beauty with such intense power at times. 

Noise, yes there is quite alot of noise at times and it can be ever so loud. The world can be like that at times hey, noisy with so many words left right and centre. Sometimes majority of what we hear seems to be all about self or about telling us what our weaknesses are or you have to be worthy or your not trying enough. These can overtime reduce ones self esteem......You ever been there? Me to, it can be overwhelming. 

I was recently reading Ephesians in chapter 1 

Verse 3 we are told we have been blessed with every single spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.

Verse 7,8 we are told we are forgiven with blood and grace.

God is telling us we are through the blood of Jesus and his grace forgiven. We are LAVISHED with blood and grace. 

There is no need to be concerned worried about not being good enough or worthy because we can absolutley enjoy this journey filled with peace, clarity, joy and HIS love with the gift he is giving us. 

YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HIM, HE CHOSE YOU as it says in verse 4 flaws and all. YOU ARE BLESSED WITH THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST. 

Lets look at the word LAVISHED in verse 8 and what it means:

1: Bestow something in a generous way

2: Give extravagant qualities of.

Jesus has lavished you with forgiveness and grace because you are wonderfully made and you are HIS....right now just the way you are, you are enough, you are worthy. 

Isn't Gods word such wonderful support to strengthen us through the noise. Well I had best go get on with the daily work. I hope you feel uplifted and happy. Have a great time whatever and where ever you are.

LISTENING TO YOUR CALL FROM GOD/INTUITION/UNIVERSE AMONGST HIS AMAZING PATIENCE, FAITHFULNESS AND TRUTH. 

Hello all on this lovely day in September 2025 where the birds are now singing, the sun is out, the flowers have come to bud and the chickens love to try sneeking some spinach leaf out the garden 😅

This blog is my third try blogging from a 10year journey of hearing my call, all the while listening to all the noise which was stopping me from listening to that still small voice. It was 2014 when I first got the impression to do a blog, we had sold all our belongings and were travelling full time in  a 16ft caravan. I love blogs as I had learnt so much from them about homemaking, baking, preparing, organising, homeschooling. Yet some thing gave me the fear of writing my words on paper or on the computer to the big wide world.  I did  start a blog and wrote one post about our travels and as it was a call from God, that is a whole other story. It just stayed at that one post, never anymore. God has impressed upon me again a few times to blog, to write to talk, but that fear has just stood me in my tracks. Until recently where changes have happened in my life opening to me to look deeper in me, deeper in my soul, deeper in my mind. It has been revealed to me the last many years I have felt like I have not been heard, I dont have a voice and that is soooo true. How amazingly patient is He that for 10years he knows what I needed, He knows my fear is putting a block on, yet so faithful and true in his words I will never leave you nor forsake you.....and more like I BELIEVE IN YOU, I SEE YOUR WONDER. Imperfect people and he still sees our glory or potential and never gives up on us. So I understand now that the blog impressions was to support, protect, love, grow to know we all have a voice, we all can be heard and it is ok to speak our beauty, speak our truth, hear out truth. 

Even though I am not tech savy, getting lost very quickly on the internet, example I did set up a blog about a month ago with a pic, yet I cant find where it is.......I think that is what they call a noob, hahahaha. 

So beautiful people thankyou for spending the time reading my post and begining this journey with me. I swear that there is no such thing as midlife crisis, I CALL IT A MIDLIFE AWAKENING!! It is challenging, exciting, radiant yet soooo exciting. 

 I am sure that as time goes on and I upgrade from noob the blog will be more colourful. Have a wonderful day/night where ever you are.
